Washington, DC - After the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that “a pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago has become a requisite for Wisconsin Republicans in 2022,” the DGA launched a new video hitting the far-right field for begging for Trump’s blessing while ignoring real problems Wisconsinites face.

Watch the new video here.

Rebecca Kleefisch and Tim Michels each visited Mar-a-Lago this spring, and Tim Ramthun traveled there this month to attend a fundraiser for fellow extremist and Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.

Trump has already dangled an endorsement of Ramthun, who’s centered his entire campaign on the Big Lie and said, “I expect that if [Trump’s] going to do anything in Wisconsin, it’ll be for me.”

“Instead of proposing solutions to problems working Wisconsinites face, the Republican candidates for governor would rather grovel in Mar-a-Lago with Donald Trump,” said DGA Senior Communications Advisor Christina Amestoy. “Wisconsin needs a leader who cares about more than just courting Trump and his failed policies.”
