STEVENS POINT, WI - The Wisconsin Tour for Justice & Democracy is making a stop in Stevens Point this week. The over 1000-mile, eight-week journey to raise awareness and participation in the April 4th Wisconsin State Supreme Court election will have people in the Shopko Parking Lot downtown all week and hold community forum event at the IDEA Center Saturday.

Who: Building Unity and Wisconsin Voices - 2 statewide organizations that facilitate collaboration for justice and democracy and many of their partners. To see a full listing of the groups that are supporting this project, go here.

What: The over 1000-mile, eight-week journey to raise awareness and participation in the April 4th Wisconsin State Supreme Court election continues. This is the sixth week of our eight week tour. At each tour stop the tour hosts a community forum led by justice activists. The topics discussed will include a variety of social justice issues, but the main theme of this Stevens Point tour stop is “Reproductive Justice.”

Where:

  • Parked all this week in the old Shopko Parking Lot in Downtown Stevens Point, the “VoteMobile will be advertising the upcoming Saturday community forum.

  • Community forum event will be at the IDEA Center - 1039B Ellis St, Stevens Point, WI.

Doors open at 12:30 pm. Forum will begin at about 1:00 pm.
