Madison – Since its start in 2009, Transgender Day of Visibility is to celebrate and honor the transgender and non-binary community across our country. It is a day for recognizing the significant accomplishments, contributions and hurdles this community has had to overcome simply to just be themselves. Amidst a time where the transgender and non-binary community is under attack nationwide from legislators, Representatives Ratcliff (D-46) and Clancy (D-19) stay firm on their position - to defend Wisconsin’s transgender and non-binary community and be a voice of advocacy in the Wisconsin State Capitol.

MADISON – Today, Governor Evers declared March 31, 2023 as Transgender Day of Visibility in Wisconsin and commended its observance to our state’s residents. Until 2021, the State of Wisconsin had never before officially recognized Transgender Day of Visibility. Under Governor Evers, our state has now recognized Transgender Day of Visibility in 2021, 2022, and 2023. MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today delivered the Democratic Radio Address highlighting his budget initiatives to bolster Wisconsin’s clean energy workforce and economy.

MADISON - If you’ve got an absentee ballot, it’s too late to safely put it in the mail.

The best thing to do it is to deliver it to your clerk’s office this week, or certainly by Election Day next Tuesday.

I just delivered mine today!

And if you’re a voter with a disability, please remember that you have the right to get assistance in the delivery of your absentee ballot.

For everyone voting with an absentee ballot, make sure you sign your name and fill in the date, and make sure that your witness signs the form and fills in their address completely.

If you’re not voting absentee by mail, you can still vote early (absentee in-person) this week. Check with your local clerk’s office about their hours.

And remember, if you’re not registered to vote, you can still register and vote at your polling place on Election Day, April 4. Bring your driver’s license or passport or other valid government ID, and if you’re registering, bring proof of residence, such as a utility bill.

This is a crucial election so please vote, and bring two friends or family members with you!
