Session Monday, March 19th, 5:00-6:00 p.m at St. Mark AME Church, 1616 W. Atkinson Ave, Milwaukee regarding legislation that would close Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake. MILWAUKEE - Senator Lena Taylor and Representatives David Bowen, David Crowley, and Evan Goyke will host a community listening session next Monday, March 19th regarding legislation that would close Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake, instead providing judges with placement options of regional Type 1 spaces and local, secure residential care centers, both with a focus on evidence based best practices and trauma informed care.
