APPLETON – State Sen. Kelda Roys announced Wednesday the endorsement of former Congressman Dr. Steve Kagen, who represented the 8th District in the US House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011.

Kelda is a hard worker who cannot be bought, and she has real plans to lower costs for food, housing, and health care. Roys continues to build the largest list of endorsements in the race, with strong support in the critical Green Bay and Fox Valley region, including WEAC, Lt. On the ground, OB/GYN and radio show host Dr. Kristin Lyerly says she’s hearing a consistent chorus of “Kelda Kelda Kelda,” from voters in the Fox Valley.

Last week, Roys announced a statewide ad buy of half a million dollars, the largest so far of any candidate in the race. Her momentum is growing just as voters are beginning to pay attention.
