Hong has steadily expanded her lead in the crowded primary, outpacing candidates with twice her name recognition. Her support has nearly tripled since the first Marquette poll in October. “Wisconsinites are once again telling us loud and clear that they want a governor who will fight for bold solutions, not incremental half-measures,” said Hong. “Universal childcare, paid leave for all, cheaper healthcare – these aren’t radical ideas. They’re what Wisconsin families need to get ahead. ”Hong has built a first-place position on message, merit and hustle. Her vision for permanent affordability is connecting with working people and families across every corner of the state. She’salso leading on issues like data center moratoriums, abolishing ICE, and fully funding our public schools without raising taxes for working families. "We don’t have time to tinker around the edges while families get left behind," Hong said. "We won’t be complacent in this race, and we won’t be complacent in the governor’s office." |
