ryan-spaudeMADISON, Wis. — Rep. Ryan Spaude (D-Ashwaubenon) was sworn in Monday at the State Capitol as the State Representative for the 89th Assembly District. Rep. Spaude will serve on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety and Tourism committees for the duration of the 2025-2026 session of the legislature.

Following the ceremony, Rep. Spaude released the following statement:

“I am incredibly honored to be sworn in as the State Representative for the new 89th Assembly District. It is a privilege to be able to serve my neighbors, and I am humbled by the trust our community has placed in me to represent them in Madison.

“I’ve come to Madison today prepared to fight for the working families of Green Bay and Ashwaubenon, addressing the issues that keep them up at night. Each session of the legislature is an important opportunity for us to put in the work to bring real solutions to Wisconsinites, and it’s one I do not intend to squander.

“This term, I promise to be a voice for all of our community. My Democratic colleagues and I will continue to lift up the voices that are too often ignored in our state politics and do everything we can to ease the pain that families are feeling.”
