MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today delivered his weekly radio address celebrating Election Hero Day in Wisconsin and recognizing all the local clerks, election administrators, poll workers, voter education groups, and postal service workers for their work ensuring Wisconsin’s elections are safe and secure. Millions of Wisconsinites went out to the polls or mailed in their ballots and made their voices heard in recent weeks. Election Hero Day gives all of us the opportunity to honor, recognize, and thank our dedicated local clerks, election administrators, poll workers, voter education groups, and postal service workers. In Wisconsin, our election workers are our friends and neighbors who answer the call to serve and go above and beyond to ensure our elections are safe and secure. They work tirelessly to promote voter engagement and participation, protect access to the ballot box, and make sure every eligible ballot is counted. |
