“We are energized, organized, and ready to bring about the changes our state and country desperately need,” said Alicia Saunders, candidate for Assembly District 2.

The energy and determination of these candidates, volunteers, and supporters drives these campaigns forward. Every day, more Wisconsinites join the movement, eager to make their voices heard and secure a future that aligns with their values.

“We are building an unstoppable movement,” said Kelly Peterson, candidate for Senate District 2.  “Together, we will get Vice President Harris across the finish line and hold Wisconsin for the Democrats. Our collective efforts will ensure a brighter future for everyone in our community.”

Lyerly, Peterson, and Saunders, along with former candidate Julie Hancock, lead an initiative known as “Women Win Wisconsin” that encourages and supports women who run for elected office. The effort has borne fruit in this cycle: in Northeast Wisconsin, the majority of people who are running within the Democratic ticket are women.
