kristin-lyerly-campaignOutpaces and Outraises all GOP Opponents Combined in End-of-Quarter Financial Report.

Green Bay, WI – Dr. Kristin Lyerly’s Congressional campaign announced last week in its End-of-Quarter Financial Report that it had raised an incredible $891,005.84 in Q2, showcasing widespread grassroots support and a strong financial foundation as the campaign accelerates toward the 2024 congressional elections.

This positions Dr. Kristin Lyerly as the highest individual fundraising campaign in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District.

Total Raised last Quarter: $891,005.84

Number of Individual Donations: 22,290

Average Contribution Amount: $44

Cash on Hand: $308,311.95

Dr. Lyerly’s three Republican opponents - Tony Wied, Roger Roth, and Andre Jacque - reported $813,327.23*, $329,778, and $76,524.57 respectively in their individual committees. This sizable contrast emphasizes Dr. Lyerly’s growing momentum and the strong backing from voters across the state and the nation who believe in her vision for the 8th CD.

Dr. Lyerly’s campaign has outpaced her opponents not only in fundraising but also in the number of individual contributions. While Dr. Lyerly has received 22,290 unique individual contributions and has put $0 of her own finances into the campaign, Tony Wied relies on his $500,000 personal contribution to inflate his numbers. *Without this loan, Mr. Wied brought in a mere $313,327.23.

While her Republican candidates rely on high-dollar donations, personal loans, and PAC support to finance their campaigns, Dr. Lyerly is proud to announce that, of her donations:

  • 98.05% came from donors contributing $200 or less

  • 99.06% came from donors contributing $250 or less

  • 99.89% came from donors contributing $1k or less

kristin-lyerly-md“As a physician, I know that trust is one of the most important factors in any relationship” said Dr. Lyerly. “The volume and the earnest nature of these contributions signify the trust of women and men across this country in my candidacy, with a true belief in the strength of our campaign and what it signifies.”

The financial disparity between Dr. Lyerly and her opponents is a testament to the power of grassroots organizing. With a solid and vast financial foundation, Dr. Lyerly is well-equipped to expand her outreach, engage with more voters, and effectively communicate her platform, which focuses on healthcare, education, immigration and border protection, and reversing the ever increasing political divide in this nation.
