With more than double the cash on hand than her opponents combined, Kris Alfheim significantly outraised both Republican candidates vying to secure the Republican nomination in the 18th Senate District during the August 13 primary election. Alfheim, running to flip the 18th Senate District blue for the first time in over a decade, reported impressive fundraising numbers, capitalizing on the Fox Valley’s desire for new representation on the heels of new and fair legislative maps being signed into law earlier this year.
“I am overwhelmed by the outpouring of support this community has shown me and this campaign. For too long, the Fox Valley’s representation in Madison has been stifled by lawmakers insulated from accountability because of gerrymandered legislative maps. I will continue to knock on doors and speak with all voters to learn more about the issues that matter most to them. When I am elected to the Senate, I will work diligently to ensure that the values of the entire Fox Valley are represented in the State Legislature.” |
