The 53rd District is an open Assembly seat that encompasses Neenah, Menasha, and part of Appleton.

MENASHA, Wis. – Today, Don Merkes, who served as the mayor of Menasha for sixteen years,  announced his endorsement of Duane Shukoski for the 53rd Assembly District:

“I am proud to endorse Duane Shukoski and his campaign to represent the 53rd District. Duane is a hardworking, lifelong resident of the Neenah-Menasha area, and I know he will put our communities first and represent every one of us in Madison.
