MADISON, WI- Following the tragic passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein, Representative Stubbs issued the following statement:

It is with a heavy heart that I mourn the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein, a trailblazer and dedicated public servant in the United States Senate. Senator Feinstein was a fighter - as Mayor, as California’s Senior Senator, a friend, and a mother. She was a role model for women everywhere, and her courage continues to inspire us all.

Senator Feinstein was known for getting impactful legislation done, while shattering glass ceilings for women around the country. Her early career was defined by tragedy, but nonetheless, Senator Feinstein took on the climate crisis and helped to curb gun violence.

The loss of Senator Feinstein marks a great loss for our country. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends during this difficult time.
