MADISON, Wis. — California resident Eric Hovde (R–Laguna Beach) continues to gear up to run for Senate in Wisconsin, today holding an event at a country club in Madison with the Republican Women of Dane County.

California Hovde was greeted by a mobile billboard reminding him of his ties to the Golden State, including his $7 million oceanfront mansion and his three consecutive victories as one of Orange County’s most influential people.

The billboard follows a sighting of California Hovde’s chauffeur picking him up from a flight from Laguna Beach and a presentation of Hovde’s three Orange County most influential awards.

“California Hovde can try to hide his California ties. But every time he pretends to be from Wisconsin, we’ll remind everyone that Hovde is so California, he thinks Spotted Cow is a store on Rodeo Drive,” said Democratic Party of Wisconsin Rapid Response Director Arik Wolk.
