WASHINGTON - Following the release of a memo from campaign manager Julie Chavez Rodriguez this morning laying out the Biden-Harris campaign’s Road to Victory in 2024, National Co-Chair Congresswoman Veronica Escobar spoke to MSNBC’s Morning Joe about the stakes of the 2024 election and the campaign’s plan to win.

Congresswoman Escobar: “We’re going to have a very diverse group of surrogates, of allies talking directly to our communities… While we did leave some votes on the table in 2020, that means there's an opportunity to pick them up and make sure that they are with us, that they understand the investments that the president and this administration has made in their communities. These transformative pieces of legislation in infrastructure and addressing climate and building jobs – making sure that folks know and understand the alternative… Look at what's happening with Republicans today. You all were just talking about the debt limit. There's a manufactured economic crisis that Republicans have brought to the table. And they’re toying with our economy, they're jeopardizing our future, not just here in the United States, but the global economy. So… we’ve got to talk to folks and make sure they understand that the stakes couldn't be higher.”
