MADISON - Gov. Scott Walker signed a bill Wednesday authored by Sen. Leah Vukmir, R–Brookfield, into law which, will give Wisconsinites savings on prescription drugs.
Gov. Walker signed the bill into law Wednesday that allows pharmacists to substitute more expensive drugs with a cheaper interchangeable version. These interchangeable biological drugs will provide more choices for consumers resulting in savings. “I’ve always worked to make sure our families can keep more of their hard-earned dollars,” Vukmir said. “This is a win for all Wisconsinites spending their money on costly prescription drugs.” |
