WASHINGTON - This week, Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison visited Tallahassee, Florida to commemorate the Florida Democratic Party’s historic achievement in recruiting candidates to compete in every congressional and state legislative race in 2024 – an achievement that speaks to Democrats’ growing momentum and commitment to flipping Florida this November.

During a joint press call, Democratic National Committee Chair Jaime Harrison, Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Vice Chair Sen. Tina Smith, and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Chair Rep. Suzan DelBene discussed the impact of MAGA Republicans' attacks on reproductive rights in the year following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. The committee chairs highlighted the various attacks on reproductive freedom and emphasized the significance of the 2024 elections in determining abortion access nationwide.

Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff traveled to North Carolina to uplift a grant from the EPA to support lead testing in schools and daycare centers. He then joined local North Carolina leaders and community members in Durham to mark Juneteenth, celebrating Black Americans’ freedom while emphasizing the threat Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans pose to our democracy.

Also this week, the DNC launched new billboard campaigns, reminding Wisconsin voters of Trump’s insulting comments towards the state and failure to deliver on his promises. Meanwhile, new billboards in Pennsylvania this weekend will spotlight Trump's track record of failing to support the Black community.
