Sen. Larson and Rep. Sinicki want to strengthen our state's drunk driving laws. Schedule press conference for December 13 in St. Francis. MADISON – Advocates join Sen. Larson and Representative Sinicki to introduce the “Drunk Driving Prevention Act” that calls for strengthening our state's drunk driving laws. As we all travel and enjoy this holiday season, it's important to remember that this is also the season of roads being more dangerous due to drunk driving. Drunk driving accounts for 32% of all traffic fatalities in the state of Wisconsin. We must work towards reducing that rate and increasing public safety on our roads. Our neighbors have voiced their strong concerns against drunk driving and have called on legislators to move forward with a solution. Join us for a press conference to reintroduce the “Drunk Driving Prevention Act.” A vehicle equipped with an IID will be present at the press conference for demonstration. WHO: Senator Chris Larson WHEN: Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at 10 a.m. WHERE: St. Francis Police Department 3400 E Howard Ave. St. Francis, WI 53235 This event will be open to the public and the press.
