GREEN BAY - The League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay (LWVGGB) is sponsoring/presenting its Candidate Forum for the 90th Assembly District in a total virtual format on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the two democratic primary candidates for the 90th Assembly District participating – incumbent Staush Gruszynski and challenger, Kristina Shelton, a member of the Green Bay Area School District Board.
“The League has moved to Virtual Candidate Forums to protect the community while ensuring the opportunity to participate in the election process,” said Karen Schley the LWVGGB Forum coordinator. This is the second Virtual Candidate Forum organized by the League but this is the first totally virtual Forum. The 30th Senate District forum was held on Monday, July 13, 2020. There are a number of other Virtual Candidate Forums in the works between now and prior to the General Election in November. The League of Women Voters of Greater Green Bay is committed to providing the Greater Green Bay community with an opportunity to see the candidates in a fair, equitable and impartial environment that continues to meet the League’s goal of engaging the community in the election process even during a pandemic.
