Hansen’s remarks came after Republican politicians came out in opposition to the Governor’s decision to extend the Safer at Home order.
Hansen was referring to White House guidelines for re-opening the economy which state that before states can enter Stage 1 they need to show a “downward trajectory of documented cases within a 14-day period” and the need to have in place a “robust testing program in place for at-risk healthcare workers, including emerging antibody testing.”
“The Safer at Home order and people following it has limited the trajectory of the virus and saved untold lives. Continuing social distancing is the best way to get us to a point where we can safely begin re-opening our communities.” |
