MADISON – Wisconsin Conservation Voters is proud to announce our endorsement of Kristina Shelton for Assembly District 90 ahead of the Aug. 11 primary election.

Kristina’s commitment to climate action, clean water, democracy and voting access, and her commitment to environmental justice make her the clear candidate in this race.

In the last year, Kristina has worked with Wisconsin Conservation Voters in her role on the Green Bay Area Public School Board to pass a resolution committing the district to 100 percent clean energy by 2050.

Through her work passing the clean energy resolution, she demonstrated her ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups to craft and ultimately pass strong policy. Her track record of achievement proves she can deliver on conservation wins in the legislature.

In addition, we are concerned that people in the 90th district currently have only limited representation in the State Assembly, with the current representative unable to sit on committees or participate in caucus discussions due to his own actions.

The voters of Assembly District 90 deserve a champion who will offer bold solutions to the problems facing Wisconsin – Kristina is the leader to do just that.
