Bryan Van StippenDEERBROOK, WI - After learning that Dave Polashek has suspended his campaign for the 12th Senate District, Bryan Van Stippen released the following statement:

“Dave is a good friend of mine, and I am sad to hear that he has suspended his campaign for the 12th Senate District. I have a lot of respect for Dave and his wealth of experience in education as an educator and superintendent in Oconto Falls. I hope to be able to work with him on education issues that our state is facing.”

"Dave and I both share the goal of stopping Senator Tom Tiffany’s disastrous policies coming out of Madison. Going door-to-door and listening to what people have to say, they see Senator Tiffany isn’t a representative of the district.”

“Not one person who I have talked to said they want more restrictions on local control, but we see Tom Tiffany sponsoring that type of legislation. Legislation that has no place in the Northwoods, or anywhere in Wisconsin. I want to be able to represent the district for the people who actually live here, not the special interests that just come and deplete our natural resources.”

“I am glad to have gained the support of Dave and his followers, and be a unifying candidate for all of the residents of the Northwoods.”

“Bringing back accountability to our state government and releasing the handcuffs that Senator Tiffany has put on local municipalities is what I want to do as your representative in the 12th Senate District.”

Bryan Van Stippen will be attending a candidate meet and greet alongside the 34th and 35th Assembly District Democratic candidates at 5:00 PM on Sunday, June 5th at the Rhinelander Quality Inn. He will be available for discussion and interviews.
