wisdems-flagMILWAUKEE - Wisconsin Democrats will gather in Milwaukee June 5th and 6th to celebrate the Democratic Party of Wisconsin's 2015 State Convention.

Wisconsin Democrats are proud to welcome U.S. Senator Tim Kaine as keynote speaker on Friday evening.

This year’s convention will focus on what Democrats must do this year and next to elect Russ Feingold to the U.S. Senate and deliver our state’s ten electoral votes for our next Democratic President. We must also focus on long-term Party building so that we can elect more Democratic leaders who are committed to addressing income inequality and fighting for the very institutions that ensure a strong, vibrant middle-class. Together we will not only undo the damage Scott Walker has done to our great state, but rebuild our progressive legacy and become once again a leader in education, civil rights, workers rights, healthcare, and environmental standards.

Convention speakers Friday evening will also include Russ Feingold, Senator Tammy Baldwin, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Congressman Mark Pocan, WisDems Chair Mike Tate, Senate Democratic Leader Jen Shilling, and Assembly Democratic Leader Peter Barca.

Media is required to RSVP and sign-in at the event; contact WisDems Communications Director Melissa Baldauff at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or (772) 579-6936 to RSVP.
