ron-johnsonWAUKESHA, WI - Friday afternoon at Waukesha County Technical College, Sen. Ron Johnson will join Sen. Tammy Baldwin for a field hearing on the opioid crisis that is ravaging Wisconsin communities.

Johnson has a well-documented record of failure when it comes to offering real solutions to Wisconsin’s families on this tragedy. He’s fully embraced the failed “just say no” rhetoric of the past that did nothing to prevent or treat drug addiction in our communities.

With Sen. Johnson’s failed record in mind, here are 3 questions for which Wisconsinites deserve answers:

1. Why did you vote against the $600 million in emergency funding that would have provided prevention services, education, and other resources to local law enforcement and others to combat this crisis right here in Wisconsin?

2. Why do you support another expensive “just say no” campaign, when you say we can’t afford funding for local law enforcement and health professionals to combat and prevent this crisis?

3. Why do you support the idea of putting billions of dollars toward a wall on our southern border when you say we can’t afford funding for local law enforcement and health professionals to combat and prevent this crisis here at home?
