internet-ruralState Treasurer announces a special distribution of $5.25 million dollars to help support the increase of e-learning needs.

MADISON - Hello Wisconsin. First, I want to thank you for doing your part to help us contain the spread of this awful virus. As we work together through this challenging time, I want to take a moment to share some good news!

Our teachers are doing everything they can to help their students, but these extraordinary times require additional support. That’s why as your State Treasurer and Chair of the Common School Fund, I am proud to share we will be making a special distribution of $5.25 million dollars to help support the increase in e-learning needs.

We have worked diligently to manage the Common School Fund prudently, and our work has paid off. On top of this special distribution, we are providing a record-setting annual distribution of $38.2 million.

sarah-godlewskiWisconsin is lucky to have dedicated teachers, staff, and administrators who are doing everything they can for our students. I am glad we found ways to partner with the Department of Public Instruction during this unprecedented time. Our state is better when we work together.

I will continue to roll up my sleeves and find ways to help Wisconsinites. If my office can ever be of service, please don't hesitate to reach out at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Stay well,

Sarah Godlewski, Wisconsin State Treasurer
