MADISON - On Friday, Representative Staush Gruszynski of Green Bay issued the following comment on Assembly vote of AB 787 to provide funding for the Green Bay Visitor center.

staush-gruszynski“In 2019, Governor Evers proposed budget allocated funds for a visitor information and education center in Green Bay. Sadly, because of partisan politics in Madison, that funding never made it across the finish line. That changed today with the passage of AB 787, which brings this bi-partisan solution to provide funding for the Green Bay Visitor center one step closer. This bill will continue to promote a growing local and regional tourism community and support the 5.7 million visitors annually to Brown County. I have been proud to support this project from the beginning and I look forward to seeing it passed in the senate and placed on the Governor’s desk soon.”
