MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today ordered the flags of the United States and the state of Wisconsin to be flown at half-staff on Sat., Dec. 7, 2019, in honor of the more than 2,400 Americans, including 54 service members from Wisconsin, who lost their lives in the attack on the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor on the morning of Dec. 7, 1941.

Evers. “On this National Day of Remembrance, we honor the memories of the service members who perished that day and pay tribute to them for their bravery and sacrifice.”
