MOUNT PLEASANT, WI- Democratic nominee for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District, Ryan Solen, will join the Democratic Party of Racine County on November 8 for an Election Results Watch Party. Solen, who lives in Racine County, will watch as the results are reported in his race against House Speaker Paul Ryan.

The party will be held at Infusino’s Banquet Hall at 3201 Rapids Drive in Racine, WI, starting at 8PM.

paul_ryan_donald_trumpRyan Solen is working hard in his first political campaign and taking on the most powerful elected Republican in the United States. His support began with Democrats eager to see their views reflected in the U.S. House of Representatives. However, in the past week he has seen his support increase dramatically with the addition of Republicans who are fed up with Paul Ryan and his falling out with Republican nominee for president Donald Trump.

This support for Solen comes in the form of pledged votes as well as donations from Wisconsin and across the country and could be the beginning of the most major upset of the 2016 election. While Ryan Solen shares few of Donald Trump’s views, Solen does consider himself to be a moderate Democrat, is committed to bipartisanship, and has great interest in hearing the opinions of all voters, not just Democrats, as he plans to represent everyone in his district if he is elected and not just those of a particular party.

This event is open to the public and the media are welcome.
