GREEN BAY - We are looking for volunteers and Interns to work as Sexual Assault Advocates in Brown County. No experience is necessary; all advocates receive extensive training prior to working with victims of Sexual Violence. Advocates play an important role in victims' healing process as they not only field incoming hotline calls through hotline, but also respond to hospitals or police stations to provide immediate support and information. Interns provide additional support and legal advocacy. They sign up for two shifts each month that work with their schedule and attend monthly meetings with other advocates, to maintain protocols and expand knowledge. Our next training starts November 2nd so contact us soon for more details about this opportunity!
