donald-trumpMADISON - After Trump’s disastrous performance in last night’s presidential forum, does Sen. Johnson still trust Trump with the nuclear codes? Donald Trump spent a half hour pushing his dangerous, insulting and sexist policies. In case you missed it here are some of Trump’s most egregious comments from last night:

  • He praised Vladimir Putin, citing the Russian President’s high approval rating

  • He insulted servicemen and women, claiming that American generals had been “reduced to rubble”

  • He suggested that men and women should serve separately in the armed forces

ron-johnsonSen. Johnson has said that he would pull his support for Trump if the Republican nominee said anything that “crosses the line.” So the question for Senator Johnson is, do any of Trump’s comments last night cross the line? We’re guessing not.

In his desperate attempt to stay in Washington, Sen. Johnson has thrown his lot in with a reality TV  star who pushes reckless, racist, sexist and xenophobic ideology. At this point there’s nothing Trump can say that would cross the line for Sen. Johnson, and that speaks volumes about what Senator Johnson stands for.
