ron-johnson"Sounds like an endorsement to me." - Sen. Ron Johnson on his support for Donald Trump

CLEVELAND - Senator Johnson is all in on Donald Trump, and at the convention this week he tripped over himself explaining his commitment to the Republican nominee. In an interview with Donovan Slack from USA Today, Johnson said he would do whatever it takes to make sure Donald Trump is the next president. You can't make this stuff up.

Johnson's comments are even more frightening after Trump’s dark and apocalyptic acceptance speech last night.

Here’s Johnson in his own words:

DONOVAN SLACK: Campaigning with him would be endorsing him?

SENATOR RON JOHNSON: Yeah. Well, again, I'm going to be voting for him. I want to see Donald Trump lose- or, win, versus Hillary Clinton.

SLACK: So you're endorsing him?

SEN. JOHNSON: Don't worry about the words. I'm going to be voting for Donald Trump, I'm going to do everything I can to make sure he wins.
Sounds like an endorsement to me, I don't worry too much about the words.

SLACK: But you could say, 'I endorse Donald Trump.'

SEN. JOHNSON:
Yeah. I'm going to be voting for Donald Trump.
