LUXEMBURG, WI — More than 18 months after local, state and national environmental groups petitioned EPA to take emergency action to provide safe drinking water to Kewaunee County, EPA and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will hold a joint public meeting during which DNR’s recommendations will be released, followed by a Q&A session.
Note to Editors: We anticipate there will be many citizens in attendance at this hearing, making this a great opportunity to speak directly with area residents concerned with and affected by the groundwater contamination in Kewaunee County ### On behalf of its more than 30,000 members, supporters and its coalition partners, Clean Wisconsin protects Wisconsin's air, water and natural heritage. 608-251-7020, www.cleanwisconsin.org. |
