GREEN BAY - On Wednesday, Senator Dave Hansen will join community leaders from Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters and Sierra Club to call on the Wisconsin State Senate to reject a bill that threatens drinking water for millions of Wisconsinites and opens the door to corporate control of Wisconsin’s water systems.

dave-hansenThis legislation benefits the private water industry while removing the transparency and accountability that allows citizens and local elected officials to ensure safe drinking water.  Senator Hansen, representatives from Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters, Fox Valley Sierra Club, and additional community members will be available for comment after short prepared remarks.
