GPS Partners in Education prepares high school students for careers in manufacturing. Senator Hansen and Representative Macco observe students. GREEN BAY - Senator Dave Hansen (D-Green Bay) and Rep. John Macco (R-De Pere) toured the Lindquist Education Center, 610 Baeten Road in Green Bay this morning to recognize the GPS alternative education program. GPS Education Partners is an innovative education model that uniquely prepares students to succeed in technical careers and promotes viability for business. Senator Hansen and Representative Macco observed students in a lesson on civics, personal conduct, socialization, interpersonal skills and networking. They discussed the importance of getting involved in our democratic system and their government. Later they took a short tour of the facility to learn more about the unique partnerships the program has with area manufacturers and how the facility further trains students for careers in manufacturing.
