tutorGREEN BAY - Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin is recruiting a Special Education Teacher who will oversee the educational services of children placed in our live-in Residential Treatment Program. Children served in our program usually range in age from 10 to 21 and are experiencing behavioral and emotional problems.

This position requires a person who is committed to a system of care that develops strong working relationships with children and families, understands their unique needs and responds to these needs in a collaborative, empowering and problem solving manner.

Responsibilities include a combination of direct instruction that is individualized, web-based learning, project based learning and administrative duties. Specifically, classroom group instruction, oversight of academic programming and curriculum, serve as a liaison with community schools, complete assessments & monitor outcomes.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree and current teaching license. Certified Special Education license and 1-3 years in an academic setting preferred.
