GREEN BAY - “Senator Johnson’s lawsuit is an unfortunate political stunt.” said fellow Republican Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner in January.

It cost Senator Ron Johnson at least $51,878.50 to file a baseless lawsuit against Obamacare that was finally thrown out of court yesterday.

“Given that the plaintiffs receive, at worst, a benefit, they cannot claim to be injured under an equal protection theory”, said the judge.

In other words, Johnson had no legal standing to file this complaint. This was something everyone involved with the case knew and said all along.

So Ron Johnson wasted everyone's time and money to file the complaint. It was a political stunt to shore up the base. Sort of like a do it yourself commercial.

And the local Green Bay paper, the Press-Gazette, gave it front page coverage, just like it was real news.
