studentBrown County UW-Extension 4-H Youth Development is accepting applications for a summer VISTA position, volunteering June 2014-August 2014.  Position description includes:

1.         Assist in developing, organizing and teaching Summer Youth Development programming for youth, grades K-5th grade.

Programming includes:

a.         Direct, hands-on education and programming in conjunction with the Boys and Girls Club Summer Programming Sessions,

weekly during term of service

b.         Green Bay Library “Alien Invasion” programming, multiple sessions throughout the summer

c.         Outreach programming sessions at Neville Museum, Children’s Museum and other Library programs

2.         Attend 4-H Youth Development Programming Outreach efforts, including:

a.         Oneida Farmers Market Youth Day

b.         School open houses or community fairs, as appropriate

3.         Attend Brown County Fair and represent Brown County UW-Extension and 4-H Youth Development, assisting with educational, promotional

and organizational processes

4.         Assist with other UW-Extension programming (STEM, Community Development, Nutrition Education, Agriculture, etc.)

as requested and appropriate.
