Kristin AlfheimAPPLETON, WI – Thursday with the support of a broad coalition of local and state elected, civic, and business leaders, Appleton Alderperson launched her campaign for the open 18th Senate District.

“It’s a new day for the state of Wisconsin,” said Kristin Alfheim. “I am proud of my record of working to make the Fox Valley the best place to live, work, and raise a family. I’m ready to take that vision into the State Legislature where we can make a real difference in the lives of hardworking Wisconsin families. Whether it be working to address the soaring costs of childcare, healthcare, or housing, fighting for a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions, and for the next generation of Wisconsinites by fully funding our public schools, we can do so much more to move our state forward. I look forward to bringing this vision to the voters of the 18th Senate District and working to earn their trust and support.”

Along with her announcement, Alfheim is proud to announce the support of a host of leaders from across Wisconsin including:

  • Wisconsin Representatives Lee Snodgrass and Lori Palmeri

  • Appleton Common Councilmembers Katie Van Zeeland, Denise Fenton, Vered Melzer, Brad Firkus, Bill Siebers, and Patrick Heyden

  • Menasha Common Councilmembers Rebecca Nichols and Austin Hammond

  • Emily Tseffos, Chair of the Outagamie Democrats
