women-healthWednesday night, Senate Republicans blocked a national IVF protection bill that would guarantee every American the right to access in vitro fertilization services.

Donald Trump and his campaign had an opportunity to support a national IVF bill – it apparently wasn’t important enough for them to do.

Trump and MAGA Republicans are on the wrong side of an overwhelming majority of Americans:

  • From former Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway: 86% of voters support IVF

  • NRSC Polling: 85% overall and 86% of women support increasing access to fertility related procedures and services

  • Axios-Ipsos Poll: 66% of the public oppose designating IVF embryos as children and holding those who destroy them legally responsible

The second Donald Trump proudly claimed responsibility for overturning  Roe, he became responsible for every family who has lost access to IVF treatment.

The following is a statement from Biden-Harris 2024 spokesperson James Singer on Trump’s out-of-step reproductive care agenda:

“Donald Trump and his MAGA allies in Congress are once again demonstrating just how out of touch they are with the overwhelming majority of the American people. As voters support IVF and expanding access to fertility treatments, Donald Trump paved the way for MAGA Republicans to rip them away.

“President Biden and Vice President Harris are fighting to restore and protect reproductive care access and know what Trump and his MAGA friends don’t – women don’t need politicians making decisions about their bodies or fertility care.”
