biden-harris-2022Today, President Joe Biden announced additional campaign leadership for his 2024 team who will help lead the campaign and the Democratic Party’s political and fundraising efforts over the next 16 months. The President’s announcement comes days after Team Biden-Harris revealed it raised $72 million since April and finished the quarter with a historic $77 million cash on hand.

Today’s personnel announcement includes:

  • Former Congressman Cedric Richmond, Campaign Co-Chair
  • Rufus Gifford, Biden-Harris 2024 Finance Chair
  • Chris Korge, Biden Victory Fund Finance Chair

The team will build off of the historically strong Biden 2020 campaign, which received more votes than any presidential ticket in history, and raised more than any presidential campaign in history, including a record $700 million through online, grassroots fundraising.

“Our campaign is off to a strong start, securing early endorsements and unified support from across the Biden-Harris coalition, and a historic quarter for our fundraising operation,” said Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden-Harris 2024 Campaign Manager. “Bringing in these trusted and known leaders that have a strong and proven record of helping win presidential campaigns  sends a clear signal to the American people that we continue to build out a powerhouse campaign leadership team that knows what it will take to win in November 2024. Already, this team has shown its ability to think outside the box to raise money, and bring in supporters across the country for the President and Vice President. With this talented team at the helm, I’m confident our campaign will have the resources it needs to win again in 2024.”
