Rachel MaesGREEN BAY - Attorney Rachel Maes is running to become Brown County’s next circuit court judge.

She hopes to bring her fresh perspective to the Brown County Courthouse. Attorney Maes has spent her legal career as a public servant. She is currently an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Green Bay and is the City Prosecutor for municipal citations issued by the City. Prior to her current role, Attorney Maes served as both an Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Corporation Counsel in Douglas County, WI.

Through these roles representing the state, county, and city governments, Attorney Maes has developed a breadth of experience in both civil and criminal legal matters.

Attorney Maes is a Brown County native and graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School. She graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and attended law school at Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, MN. Attorney Maes is also the proud parent of three energetic youngsters, two of whom attend school in the Green Bay Area Public School District.

Attorney Maes is running to bring her hardworking, fair, and thoughtful approach to justice to the Brown County Courthouse. She is proud to give Brown County voters a meaningful choice in choosing who they trust behind the bench and firmly believes that contested judicial elections are healthy for the local justice system.

Attorney Maes has proudly served her neighbors and community, and she brings a broader representation of the people of Brown County to the courthouse.
